What Do MFM and FMF Mean?
MFM and FMF are shorthand for the arrangement of people in a play situation — and the order of the letters actually means something.
MFM
MFM = two men and one woman, with the two men not playing with each other. The repeated 'M–F–M' pattern signals the woman is the center and the men focus on her. This is a common bull or hotwife arrangement.
MMF vs. MFM
The order matters: MFM means the men aren't interacting with each other; MMF means the two men are also playing together. Same three people, very different dynamic — and worth clarifying before you assume.
FMF
FMF = two women and one man, with the women typically focused on the man / each other as part of the scene. This is the classic unicorn arrangement — a couple plus a single woman.
FFM vs. FMF
Same logic: FMF generally means the women aren't playing with each other; FFM means they are. Again, clarify rather than guess.
Why it matters
These acronyms tell you the shape of a scene at a glance — but they're shorthand, not a contract. Whatever the letters, the same rules apply: consent, protection, and clear boundaries from everyone involved.
MFM and FMF are quick, useful vocabulary — just remember the letters describe an arrangement, not permission.
