Lifestyle Club Etiquette
A lifestyle club is a curated space with its own etiquette. Follow it and you'll be welcomed everywhere; ignore it and you'll quietly stop getting in. Here's the code.
At the door
- Have your membership and ID ready. Don't make the door staff dig.
- Take the first-timer tour. Knowing where everything is removes half the awkwardness.
- Pay your entry cheerfully. It's the cost of a curated room.
Dress and grooming
Clubs dress up. Follow the dress code and theme — arriving underdressed signals you didn't care enough to read the room. Shower, groom, smell good. It's basic respect for everyone you'll be close to.
The social areas
- Engage couples as a unit. Both partners, eye contact with both.
- Read green lights — eye contact and smiles — and respect closed body language.
- Don't hover or follow anyone around the room.
- Keep drinks moderate. Drunk is not a good look at a club.
The dance floor
The dance floor is social, not a contact sport. Dance, flirt, have fun — but grabbing without asking still isn't okay here. A no on the dance floor is a no, accepted with a smile.
The play rooms
- Ask before entering or joining anything. Always.
- Respect closed doors and 'no' instantly.
- No phones. Ever. Most clubs ban them entirely here.
- Bring your own condoms and lube; clean up after.
- Leave when you're done — don't camp. Others are waiting.
Staff and hosts
Be kind to the staff and the host couple. They're what makes the night safe and good. Tip where appropriate, say thank you, and never argue a door decision.
The golden thread
All of club etiquette comes down to: consent, courtesy, and discretion. Nail those three and you're the couple every club is happy to see walk in — and invite back.
